The screened in porch is nice for sitting back and seeing/hearing the water with coffee in the mornings if you like it quiet. The larger deck is good for sleeping, sitting, grilling, reading, watching the kids in kayaks, or laugh at the adults getting in the canoe. About 90 miles from Louisville. About 90 miles from Bowling Green. We own our dock, but will have our pontoon is there; dock use is not included in rent. Has outdoor fireplace just to cook some marshmellows. Has a larger fire pit 15 yards from the water. There should be plenty of wood around to burn, so do not bring any initially. If you get there and there is not enough, the local stores will have some for $5 for a small bundle. New carpet and vinyl flooring installed for the 2020 season. This is our personal cabin, so just be mindful of that. No smoking inside. We have a family dog, but it's never been allowed there. There is a $50/deposit cleaning fee that will be refunded as long as you put away your dishes, and put the trash bags outside. This is not a "gotcha fee." With two bedrooms (queen size bed per room), 1 1/2 bath, washer and dryer, kitchen and living room. This lake front property has an amazing view, from the porch you are surround by nature and the lake. Very private with no other houses within sight. Great for a weekend get away on the lake. Private walking trails located on the property. Also has a fire pit for night time enjoyment. Located about 15 minutes from leitchfield, where you have several restaurants and local shopping centers.

The house has four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. It can sleep 12 people, with bedding available for an additional 5 people upon request, so it’s perfect for that big family or group of families. It has an open floor plan with a fully functional kitchen and dining room, that has seating for 10-12 at a time. The basement still has a bar area that is unfinished, but there is a great game room for entertaining in the evening or on rainy days! The lot does have water frontage with a three finger dock available for swimming. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of mother nature and the corps of engineers in terms of the lake water level, so there are times that the ramp to the dock is not easily accessible (requires a short ferry ride using a jon boat provided) after an abnormal amount of rainfall. Nick’s Boat Dock does rent pontoons, which is an option for those without a boat, or you could head less than a mile down the road to the Axtel campground beach to enjoy a couple days of just swimming. Full Disclosure: There are security cameras located on the perimeter of the house for monitoring the property, since this property is in a relatively rural area.
